A long profile is not Customer 360
Putting many fields on one page does not create useful context. Staff need a timeline and summary of the dealership-specific events that change the next conversation.
That includes vehicle interest, lead status, communication, test drives, financing, trade-ins, reservations and the completed Deal. After purchase, service, warranty, installments, payments, receipts and documents may matter.
Scope is as important as completeness
A unified view can expose sensitive customer and financial information. Roles, organization isolation, branch scope, assignment and document permissions must be enforced in the data layer—not only hidden in the interface.
Design for the next action
The useful question is not “how much data can we show?” It is “what does this employee need to understand before contacting or serving the customer?” A concise summary, recent timeline and visible next action usually beat a dense record dump.
