Days in stock is the start, not the diagnosis

A vehicle sitting for 90 days deserves attention, but the appropriate action depends on what buyers are doing. A weak page and a strong page can produce the same zero-inquiry result for different reasons.

Review the signal set together

Use a consistent weekly review that places operational and demand signals on one screen.

  • Age: how long the vehicle has been available
  • Quality: images, bilingual facts, pricing and publication readiness
  • Engagement: views, saves, comparisons and inquiries
  • Conversion: whether attention becomes contact, appointment or Deal

Choose the action from evidence

Low views may point to discoverability or demand. High views with low inquiries may suggest price, presentation or missing trust information. Inquiries without appointments may be a response and follow-up problem. A discount is only one possible response—and it should not be the automatic first one.
